Eliminate dishwasher odors by cleaning the filter located at the bottom of the tub. Remove it and scrub with warm soapy water. Wipe down the door gasket and edges where food debris collects. Place a cup of white vinegar on the top rack and run a hot cycle empty. Follow with baking soda sprinkled on the bottom and another short hot cycle. Clean the spray arms by removing and rinsing. Run hot water at the sink before starting the dishwasher.
