Eliminate drain flies by cleaning their breeding source inside drain pipes. Pour boiling water down affected drains then use a stiff brush to scrub inside the drain opening. Apply enzyme-based drain cleaner to dissolve organic biofilm where larvae feed. Repeat daily for two weeks to break the breeding cycle. Seal gaps around pipes and keep drains dry when not in use. Bleach provides temporary relief but doesn’t remove the organic layer that sustains larvae.
