Why My Toilet Won’t Flush

A toilet that won’t flush may have a broken handle chain or flapper inside the tank. Open the tank lid and check if the chain connecting the handle to the flapper is intact. A warped or worn flapper won’t create proper suction. Low tank water level also prevents effective flushing. Check the water supply valve beneath the toilet ensuring it is fully open. Clogs in the trapway or drain line can also prevent flushing.
